Local Accommodations
Our room block is now depleted but we can still arrange for reasonable accommodations if you are having trouble finding a suitable hotel. Please contact our general secretary for some suggestions or assistance: irmmw-thz2008@caltech.edu.

Parking at Caltech
We are planning to provide a shuttle bus between the Hilton/Sheraton and the Caltech campus from approximately 7:30 am to 10:00 am each morning and from 5:00 pm to 7 pm each evening. Parking space at Caltech is limited but will be available for a fee of $3/day per vehicle. Daily permits can be purchased at the guest program registration desk in Dabney. Visitors should try to use the lot on California Blvd. (across from campus). Pay stations (see $ symbols on Map of parking at Caltech below) can also be used for $5 per day without the need to purchase a permit. Note that no parking will be allowed in the Holliston garage.
Public Transportation
Pasadena runs a public bus service (Pasadena Arts Bus Route 10) that is very convenient for getting to/from the conference hotel and the Tuesday evening reception at the Pacific Asia Museum. A route map and schedule can be downloaded from the links below.
